I don’t expect to make any real sum of money from affiliate links. In fact, since I’m just one of the tens of thousands (millions even?) nobody bloggers, I expect in a few years I might luck out and have enough pennies generated from affiliate links that I’ll be able to treat the kids to an ice cream cone… at Mc Donalds… unless they change the price from $1… then no ice cream for the kiddies.
When it comes to receiving “free” products, such as a patterns or fabric, I will tell the origin in the post (i.e. participant in pattern tour).
In short, I’d be a fool to insist that you should rush out and buy something that I secretly know is total junk. I’m busy enough as it is, I do not need to devote valuable time to warding off pitchfork wielding mobs. I rather be hanging out with my family or crafting something!
Just know this…
– Not all links are affiliate links and not all posts contain affiliate links. There will be a mini-disclosure telling you about the links in the post when needed.
– Products given in compensation for my blog post will be noted when applicable. I will also note when I was a tester for a pattern if writing a review based on a test.
– Thank you for supporting my site by using the affiliate links or even just supporting anything I refer you to. I might not ever make millions (or thousands) off of this site but even five cents will give me reason to tease Mr. Rox about my blog being one step away from the big time, while grinning from ear to ear.
