It’s my blogiversary and I’m having a giveaway! Hooray!

One year later and already too cool for my heart shirt…

UPDATE: The giveaway is now over. Congrats to Sonja who won the fabric bundle! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to enter. I wish I could give fabric to each and every one of you.

I spent months (yes, months) planning the perfect start to my blog. Despite all my planning, one day I got excited about the last minute Valentine’s Day shirt (my first knit project!) I whipped up for Seb and that became my first post… on Valentine’s Day… unintentionally… At least it makes the date easy for me to remember!

Since today is all about love, I wanted to show my appreciation to my readers (old and new) and celebrate my blogiversary with a giveaway! I recently spoiled myself with a euro knits order from Mabel Madison. The knits I picked out were amazing and I was very pleased with how quickly I received my order. One of the things that kills my creative mojo is realizing that I need to order something and then having to wait… forever… Stores that ship quickly are #1 in my book and Mabel Madison is one of those shops.

Seb’s favorite print from my most recent order is the Stenzo “Gnomes on the Bus”. As a nod to the knit project for Seb being my very first blog post I thought it would be fun to offer one lucky winner one yard of Stenzo Jersey Knit “Gnomes on the Bus” in cream and half a yard of Stenzo Jersey Knit Solid Red for your own knit project. The awesome Mabel Madison has also offered to throw in half a yard of Verhees Euro Poplin “Mustache” in green and half a yard of Verhees Euro Poplin “Midget Magic” in blue, also to the lucky winner. Mabel Madison has a great selection of boy prints for your little guy… or gal… Pen likes just about everything her brother likes!

My favorite project has been the I SPY quilt that I made for our local Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser. Every block is something different.

Thank you for the chance to win. I just love the little gnomes! So cute. 🙂 My favorite project this past year was a set of burp cloths, receiving blankets, and bibs for a very much anticipated little one.

I made a quilted potholder (I’m new to sewing) and it actually turned out okay.

My favorite project this year was my breast pump
Bag that I made from scratch! Thanks for the chance to win!

A pair of jeans for an American Girl doll is my latest favorite project. Love, love the gnomes on a bus fabric!

Tough one! I made a Hungry Caterpillar quilt for a friend’s baby last spring– the fabric was just so fun and I just improv pieced it. I am in love with the fabrics at Mabel Madison, but haven’t had the chance to get my hands on any- thanks for the chance to win some!

Super way to celebrate your blog’s anniversary! My favorite project I’ve worked on this past year is a mini quilt that I made for a swap partner who lived in North Carolina. I loved it, but I never heard from her to know if she liked it or not….so :(.

I guess my annual pillowcases for the nieces and nephews at Christmas is my favorite project.

Honestly I like all my projects but I made a red and white star quilt that I love.

I made a large Hexagon quilt. It turned out great. Thanks for the giveaway.

Happy blogversary. I love making a pillow with my 5 yr grandson. He was so proud of what we made together.

Favorite project in past 12 months, has been to make a robe & matching robe, for my Grangirlie & her doll. & in last 7 months it has been allll about making lil clothes & a few quilts for a new lil Granbaby due the end of April! He will be one cool lil’ guy! 🙂

Happy Blogiversary! I love my bed size quilt. It has been a WIP for 2 years now, but it’s being hand quilted. I love it because I designed the layout with a bit of inspiration from a magazine.

I made my first scarf for my daughter and she loves having something made by her mom she can take to school everyday

My favorite project in the last 12 months is a quilted wall hanging I made for last Christmas. It’s still up — I couldn’t make myself take it down yet!

My favorite project in the past 12 months was three Disney inspired (but not exact) princess dresses for my 3 adorable princesses.

thanks for the chance to win. I love anything DIY and would love it if I won, I would make as many dresses or teddy bears I could with that fabric. thank you for allowing me to do what I love most! : )

Happy anniversary! My favorite project was a quilt I made for my nephew’s wedding. I loved the denim blues and barn reds – the bride and groom’s favorite colors.
